Paramotor caught by Liberty

French man Thierry Devaux was buzzing the Statue of Liberty in New York when his wing got caught on the flame. He was left dangling nearly a 100m above the ground for 45 minutes, whilst he was rescued. He was led away by police and could face 6 months in prison. Thierry has previously carried out several other so called stunts in the US including buzzing the Brooklyn Bridge. There was no damage done to the Statue itslef ironically a gift from France to the US in 1884.
