Bit of a contrast, looking back towards Pen Y Fan just after 07. You can see that the edge of the cloud shows a thin layer with a kind of waterfall effect all along its side, particularly to the left of the photo. As ever, the photo doesn't quite do this justice - it really was like flying out from under a sliver of Kendal mint cake! The steepness of the western face of Pen Y Fan explains the sink I was about to encounter!
