HARESFIELD BEACON BOTTOM LANDING.

avonhgpg

Last year, the owner of the bottom landing that we use at Haresfield sadly passed away. His executors are in the process of selling the farm and, in the meantime, the solicitors responsible have asked us not to use land owned by the farm for landing.

Please do NOT land in the bottom landing field - or anywhere below the barbed wire fence - as this will likely prejudice any negotiations that we will have with the new owners to reinstate bottom landing permission. Pilots should not launch unless they are confident of being able to land on National Trust land, which means top landing or landing on the small clearing uphill of the fence directly under take-off.

When the winds are NNW it may be possible and safe for pilots to use both take offs, and in such conditions the whole extent of the site...
