Approaching The Black Mountain, taken immediately after 11, showing why I carried on West. There's dots of sun and, if I mess up, the ridge to the left will take me all the way back down to The Gwyn Arms. As it happens I dropped the camera back around my wrist immediately after taking this as I was pulled into another thermal, just to my left IIRC, which kept me going as far as the deep bowl at the top of the photo, that had another lake hiding below it.
