Parking
Off the side of the road.
Rigging
Walk to the top of the hill taking care not to disturb the farmer's cattle.
Take Off
At the north east end of the knoll. There is a hedge, which includes several large trees just below take off.
Local Flying
Watch out for the numerous trees mentioned above.
XC Flying
None.
Top Landing
Do not land in any crops.
Bottom Landing
Below take-off, but watch out for the barbed wire fences.
Hospitals
Bristol.
Directions
Leave Whitchurch on the A37 going south. Take the first right toward Norton Malreward. Maes Knoll is about one mile on the right after crossing the bridge over the disused railway.

14/05/19 Jason stone - A little stronger today with more of a easterly meteo, still thermic and working nice infront of hill, have a short movie to upload later, loved riding the little ridge with another pilot from Hawaii, his first time to uk, lots of fun.

13/05/19 Jason stone - 18k sometimes gusting to 30, thermic. Meteo blowing thermal over the hill, good lift infront of T/O extending nearly to main road, model glider pilot kindly showing me lift areas;-) fab day launched 1300 ish lots of fun riding the small ridge infront ,didnt have vario so stayed close into hill, but easily made it up over top. Flew for hour could have been much longer but had to dash for school run

03/07/15 Dave C - 2 extended TTBs 4 ft ATO! with vario mocking me all the way to the bottom. However w some very brief soaring to be had in the Southern corner at the bottom of the field, only for the desperate. Perhaps if jetstream moves from over the UK things may improve, let's hope.

30/03/14 Irish John#1 - Went to at about 10 when it was too light, then it picked up and we all had great fun, even thermalling then we landed at about 2 when it was getting too strong on the hill. Irish John#1+#2+ Andy.
