Not necessarily. The specific Waitrose in question (at Llanfoist) has a large car park and is conveniently situated at the foot of the Blorenge and within easy walking distance of the Castle Meadows landing field, over the Usk in Abergavenny. It's been used for years by pilots as a rendezvous and car drop-off, and has the added bonus that you can actually buy your lunch there too! Park at the very back of the car park, closest to the A465 - there is technically a time limit to car park usage (but no cameras) so the store likes us to keep our vehicles in the least used part. |
We've had some good feedback already about this section - thanks! The more eagle-eyed will note that I've done some more work on it too. If you have any articles you'd like us to include, please email them to me.
